Newton Aycliffe Youth are a community standard club. We provide football opportunities for boys and girls throughout the local community. 
 

To help us achieve that for the last 3 years we have been involved in the FA Mentor program. The program was created to support grass roots clubs and the coaches within the clubs.

The club have had a dedicated FA Mentor every season, he has helped us to develop the club not just practically but also how we approach club development.

We want to make sure Newton Aycliffe Youth are a community club that supports the children of our community. So through the FA Mentor program we now have dedicated club mentors. They have lots of experience and help to support the other coaches within the club.

We have developed a club philosophy to actually show who we are and what we try to do.

The coaches want to improve as coaches so that they can help the kids to improve not just as players but as individuals. So we hold regular coach development events where we either do practical or theory sessions to help to develop and up skill the coaches.

All the coaches within the club are a minimum FA Level 1 qualified coach, but we also have a number of FA Level 2 coaches.
 

As a club we want to provide the local community the best environment for the kids to come and enjoy sport and develop as individuals. So that they continue to take an active role in the community for years to come, and we as a club are working hard to help them get those chances.
